May 16-17, 2025 in Frankfort, Kentucky!

This weekend is designed to demystify the work done in legal and quasi-legal settings. sponsored by KyRID and the Office of Language Access under the Administrative Office of the Courts of Kentucky.

On day 1, Joshua Elliot and Kelli Sanchez present "Orientation to the Kentucky Courts," the first step in becoming qualified to work in Kentucky courtrooms. 9am-5pm with a lunch break on your own.

On day 2, Marva Johnson and Sonja Smith will present ethical decision making and considerations unique to ASL interpreters working in legal and quasi legal settings. 9am-12pm and 2p-5p.

The member meeting will be held Saturday, May 17th at 1215p, lunch will be provided.

KYRID is an approved RID CMP Sponsor for continuing education activities. This event is currently pending CEU approval
KYRID will honor refund requests made at least 7 days prior to the event. If the request is made less than 7 days prior to the event, the board will consider the unique circumstances related to the request and decide on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be provided for requests made after the start of the event. Refunds will be provided for the total cost of the purchase, minus any processing fees incurred by KYRID. CMP processing fees (workshop ceus, PINRAs, etc) are non-refundable.
